Recognizing Committment

Don't Forget To Recognize Commitment - Sept 30 Is Deadline Day

We know all our members work hard and so perhaps it's time to give that person a little extra recognition. Please take the time to recognize someone deserving of one of our awards listed below.

Awards are presented at the next general meeting and must be submitted no later than September 30 of each year with the exception of the Florence E. Downey Student Award which is has a deadline of September of each year.

Additional information about CDAA awards can be found under section 11 of the Manual of Procedures.

To recognize your chosen Dental Assistant, please download our nomination form and email to the Awards Committee Chair.

CDAA Awards

The Florence E. Downey Student Award

The award is given to the most improved student based on a non-academic criteria. The student should be a member of The Calgary Dental Assistants Association. The recipient of this award will selected from all the nominations received.

Nomination Deadline: September 30

Dental Assistant Of The Year

A member who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the CDAA during the annual period.

Nomination Deadline: September 30

CDAA Special Recognition Award

Member who has contributed to the welfare of the association and a willingness to serve in any capacity.

Nomination Deadline: September 30

Honorary Membership

This member must be supportive of the CDAA, have a formal letter of nomination, and have been a member for a minimum of 15 years.

Nomination Deadline: September 30

Perfect Attendance Award

This member will have demonstrated a perfect attendance for all general meetings (includes AGM) of the CDAA.

Nomination Deadline: September 30
